The second phase of the Olympiad of religious subjects takes place

The second phase of the religious subject olympiad between the students of the Muslim Community of Albania's madrassas took place in the premises of the "Beder" University College.
This phase brought together about 59 students, who competed in four categories in reading the Holy Quran. To the Muslim Community of Albania, H. Bujar Spahiu, Rector of "Beder" University College, Prof. Dr. Gjergji Sinani, Director of Education at KMSH, Mr. Elton Karaj, representatives of the institution's madrassas, muftis, imams and the many students who participated in this last stage of the Olympiad.
In his opening speech, the Director of Education at KMSH, Mr. Karaj, shared with the attendees the progress of this year's Olympics, as well as the achievements and challenges that have accompanied its organization. Furthermore, he thanked the students for their participation and dedication, the staff of the respective madrasahs for their cooperation and continuous commitment, as well as the teachers and parents for supporting and motivating the young people.
Meanwhile, Mayor Spahiu, in his welcoming speech, appreciated the students' commitment to Islamic knowledge, the Koran and the moral values that our religion conveys. He emphasized that this Olympiad is not just a competition, but a proof of education, discipline and love for religion as a whole.
"At a time when young people face many challenges, the fact that you choose to engage with knowledge, education and religious values is a very strong message for all of us. Our madrassas have always been the center of knowledge, education and the formation of healthy moral and civic personality, and you are the most beautiful fruit of this mission." - he said.
Further, the Rector of KU "Beder", Prof. Dr. Gjergji Sinani, Head of the Department of Islamic Sciences, Mr. Jamal Al Saferti, as well as the Dean of Students, Mrs. Rudina Cinari. In their words, they praised the organization of the Olympiad and the dedication of the students.
The ceremony continued with the distribution of certificates and corresponding prizes for the 53 winners of this Olympiad in its two phases.
