The first group of pilgrims leaves for the holy places, Mecca and Medina

In the early hours of this morning, the President of the Muslim Community of Albania, H. Bujar Spahiu, escorted to Tirana International Airport the first group of Albanian pilgrims for this year, consisting of 180 believers, who took the road to the holy places, Mecca and Medina, to fulfill one of the fundamental pillars of Islam - the Hajj.

During the meeting held with the believers before departure, Chairman Spahiu conveyed his most sincere congratulations and prayers for an accepted hajj, emphasizing the spiritual importance and the high religious dimension that this journey carries in the life of every Muslim.

In his speech, the Chairman of the KMSH also underlined the maximum commitment of the institution to guarantee the most dignified organization for all Albanian believers, ensuring that every aspect of this pilgrimage takes place in the best possible way. possible, in accordance with the importance and grandeur of the Hajj.

This year, about 525 believers will travel from Albania to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, together with millions of other believers from all over the world.
