The new Domje Mosque is inaugurated

In a warm fraternal atmosphere and with the participation of a large number of believers, the Domje mosque was inaugurated yesterday, a new center of faith and worship for the believers of this area.

The President of the Muslim Community of Albania, H. Bujar Spahiu, the Mayor of Vorë, Mr. Blerim Shera, Mufti of Vora, Mr. Ledian Cikalleshi, the main donor of the mosque, Mr. Alush Kola, Vice President of KMSH, Mr. Lauren Luli, Director of Vakf-Investments, Mr. Erlis Mosha, the imam of the mosque, Mr. Korab Shehu, as well as many believers and residents of Domje.

The ceremony began with the cutting of the symbolic ribbon of the inauguration, thus marking the opening of the doors of this mosque, which will serve the faithful for the five daily prayers, as well as in the development of various religious, educational and cultural activities.

In his opening speech, the Mufti of Vora, Mr. Ledian Cikalleshi expressed his gratitude to all the contributors who, through their dedication and commitment, made possible the construction of this work of special importance for the religious life of the community.

After that, the President of KMSH, H. Bujar Spahiu, greeted the attendees. In his speech, he thanked the local institutions for their support and cooperation, especially for the creation of infrastructure and administrative facilities in the realization of this project. At the same time, he called on the believers to enliven this mosque every day with their presence in the daily prayers, by participating in the activities that will take place and by conveying the values ​​of the Islamic faith to the younger generations.

During his greeting, President Spahiu also focused on the benefits and the great value of the construction of the houses of Allah (pbuh), expressing a special thanks to the main donor of the mosque, Mr. Alush Kola.

Following this, the Mayor of Vora, Mr. Blerim Shera, praised the completion of this project, describing it as an added asset for the religious, social and cultural life of the area.

A special moment of the ceremony was the speech of the main donor, Mr. Alush Kola, who has been living and working in the United States of America for years. He shared with those present the special emotions and pleasure he experienced on this important day for him and his family, witnessing the completion of a work that will serve generations of believers.

As a sign of gratitude for his valuable contribution, the President of KMSH, H. Bujar Spahiu, handed Mr. Alush Kola a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the institution, with the motivation: "For the valuable contribution, generosity and dedication in the full financing of the construction of the Cathedral Mosque, from the foundations to its completion...".

The program ended with the speech of the imam of this mosque, Mr. Korab Shehu, who also led the program. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the donor, as well as to all the institutions and individuals who contributed to the realization of this work, making it possible to build a hearth where faith, worship and Islamic values ​​will be passed down through the generations.

We ask Allah (swt) to reward the donor, Mr. Alush Kola, and his family for this precious work, as well as all those who contributed to its realization. May this mosque be a constant source of goodness, peace and unity for us all!
